Privacy notice under review

The final privacy notice is being prepared with the organising institution and will be published on this page. Until then, the information below describes how data submitted through this website is processed.

Last updated — October 2026

Who is responsible

The Swiss-Brompton Cardio-Oncology Summit is organised by the Fondation GECOR. The organising team acts as the data controller for information submitted through this website.

What we collect

We collect the information you provide when submitting a registration, a refund request or an invitation request: name, professional title, email address, language preference, registration type and any documents you attach. We also collect limited technical information required to operate the website securely.

Why we process it

Your information is used to process your registration or request, to send you correspondence relating to the summit, to produce the documents you request and to meet accounting and legal obligations.

Who receives it

Information is accessible to the organising team and, where required, to the institutions involved in organising the summit. Supporting documents submitted with a refund request are stored privately and shared only with the persons responsible for reviewing them.

How long we keep it

Retention periods depend on the nature of the request and on statutory accounting obligations. Records are deleted once they are no longer required.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and you may object to its processing. Requests should be addressed to the organising team using the contact details on this website.

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing is based on your consent, the performance of a contract and the legitimate interests of the organisers.
